Taken from my CL ad...I want to be as honest as possible and expect the same. Thanks for looking.
Little background on the bike. Bought from a friend who got hit by a car. I had just quit riding for about a year and had sold my old bike. Decided to get back into riding and this came along. I bought this to eat time in the garage. This was
also a great opportunity to have "man" time, and be able to hide from the ol lady. After some research and frustrating searches for 1K parts I decided to bring the bike back to life with 05 750 parts (more plentiful)such as: rear subframe,
seats, tank forks(updated) and plastics. The bike is a wolf in sheep's clothing...no scratch that, it is a banshee on crack posing as little red riding hood. If you know bikes, you know about the 988cc motor in this beast, it was the last iteration
before the 999cc motor the following generation. The motor is flawless and will still keep pace with or otherwise embarrass newer bikes. The mid-range on this particular bike made it one of the best street bikes of all time. I have owned two
and loved em both. I have owned newer zx10's, R1's and such and have not found a bike with the mid grunt this thing has. The bike is also the lightest wet weight GSXR of all time. (440lbs) Bike has low miles (7800) (will vary due to it being
used by me) and a CLEAN FL title. This bike used to be a real beauty until an ignorant driver almost killed my friend. The bike decent looking now, and still gets wild when you push the button. It is flat black and the plastics are ok. You may be
asking " but mister, it was in an accident...is it STR8...you bet your sweet tooter! I had it checked out by the east coast's #1 frame/suspension God...who is this God that walks among us mortals? Erick at Computrack in FT LAUDERDALE, look
him up if you want, hell talk to him if you wish... but be warned he is not very nice...however he is damn good. If you wish you can get the original plastics and make it look like a REAL 1K, you could even ride it off a cliff if you want, hell put
wings on it and show up the Wright brothers! Just had an oil change, front tire is new and rear is too. Front rim is black and rear is Chrome. Think of it as a Mullet, for sportbikes. Business up front party in the rear! Micron exhaust(Micron went
out of business a few years back BTW) with some dings, sounds greeeeat! K&N filter for a whooping .5 hp increase at 12,000rpm, but hey at least you can wash the thing. No power commander, velocity stacks, turbos, or any other fancy
stuff you could not possibly use to its full potential regardless of what you think, unless you are some one like Valentino Rossi. Just a honest funky bike that will work at all times and has no problems. If bikes had mustaches, this one would
have an imperial...
