Well like I said idk how it is in your state but here in Indiana the 30 day lemon law is for any car.. I know firsthand because I bought a car and two days later it blew a rod thru the block at high boost at the track. Needless to say it took awhile but I got my money back in full and got to keep the car.. Good luck tho hope u get it worked out

    Florida
Lemon Law for Used Cars in Florida

Florida's Lemon Law does not cover used vehicles. However, there are several other types of laws that can be used to help you in the event you discover that you've bought a used car lemon. First, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has what's called the Used Car Rule that requires dealers to provide consumers with a Buyer's Guide with warranty and other types of information. If the dealer has in any way failed to abide by the FTC Used Car Rule, you may have the basis for a legal claim.

Second, each state has what are called Unfair and Deceptive Acts and Practices (UDAP) laws. If the dealer has, for example, made verbal promises or didn't tell you about issues relating to your used car, you may have a cause of action. Third, Florida's version of the Uniform Commercial Code may provide you with relief. Finally, the Truth in Lending Act and the Federal Odometer Act might also be valuable in obtaining lemon justice.

damn that sucks..thats exactly why you cant trade anyone you dont know or have seen the car over a period of time. Trades sometimes are a way of someone being dishonest and getting rid of their junk for someones good running car..Hope u get your money back but id just go find the dude that traded me the car and take him for a long ride

Id crash the car into the side of his house and if you didn't buy it from his house that was your first mistake
